Comcast Contractors: You know what it takes to succeed as a contractor
for Comcast – doing the installation right the first time!
And getting it right the first time requires an
in-depth understanding and knowledge of broadband systems and technology.
Can you guarantee that you and your people possess this unique set of
skills and are qualified to perform these installations?
To help
qualify contractors, Comcast has partnered with Jones/NCTI to offer a unique
menu of training resources.
Qualified Contractor Series (QCS)
Manuals
A new innovative series of manuals created to
train your installers in all the intricacies of their work. These manuals
begin with the concepts and terminology behind the work to make certain
installers understand how broadband technology works. Then, installers are
taken through detailed step-by-step implementation guides to prepare them for
real-world situations. These manuals are offered in both student and
leader’s guide versions. You must be a verified Comcast installation
contractor to order the QCS series.
PLEASE NOTE: The questions for the High-Speed Data exam have been updated as of 4/4/08 and it now covers the material in the new HSD Second Edition manuals. Please take this into consideration when determining preparedness for the exam.
Due to a restructuring of the High Speed Data assessment and supporting training materials, scheduling any new HSD assessments will not be available until further notice. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
Professional
Trainers
As an additional service, Jones/NCTI can provide you with trainers
skilled in these unique abilities to teach the subject. For more
information please contact Jones/NCTI at (303) 797-9393.
Self-Study Courses
Jones/NCTI self-study courses are the standard by
which many companies recognize and measure their employees and contractor’s
skills and knowledge. These courses are specifically recommended to match
your unique requirements. For your convenience, these courses are
available in multiple delivery formats and can be taken through a clear,
career-oriented progression or a la carte, as your needs dictate.
Make certain your people are the best they can be
and all installations are done right with the Qualified Contractor Series
training manuals and the Jones/NCTI Self-Study courses.
