This training will focus on giving you the knowledge and confidence to discuss the following aspects of Business Services:
- Describe the function and use of customer owned equipment that interfaces with a likely service provider’s equipment
- Describe network terminology and processes
- Analyze and diagram the installation of business network configurations.
- Define VPN and describe how a VPN works.
- With limited supervision, install and troubleshoot business voice service for small businesses in accordance with local procedures and practices.
- Diagram an IP Network, given an RF diagram.
- Analyze troubleshooting scenarios in order to determine the cause and potential solution of a given business customer problem.
- Explain the purpose of a service order agreement between a likely service provider and a business customer.
- Describe the steps and key information required in order to conduct a business site survey.
- Identify NEC areas of application in a business environment, explaining the potential risks of each.
- Describe the process for leading an effective installation.
In addition, you will be able to assist other technicians installing and servicing Business Services.
