In June of 2004, Jones/NCTI signed an agreement with the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE). The agreement created a partnership between the two organizations aimed at providing training and support for SCTE's certification programs.

As the "Official Training Partner" of SCTE, Jones/NCTI now has two ways to help you prepare for SCTE certification - Jones/NCTI Prep Guides or training courses. Many Jones/NCTI courses can also be used for SCTE recertification programs. Additionally, Jones/NCTI has established a voucher system to help you cover SCTE membership and certification enrollment expenses.
 

Jones/NCTI Courses for SCTE Certification - Use Jones/NCTI courses to help prepare you for certification. In addition, you will gain all the other benefits for completing a course, such as college credit and, in many cases, progress toward Jones/NCTI's Master Technician Award.
 

Jones/NCTI Courses for SCTE Recertification - Many Jones/NCTI courses can also be used to earn recertification units (RU) that may be applied towards recertification of SCTE credentials.
 

Jones/NCTI's Voucher System - Jones/NCTI's voucher system provides money that graduates of certain Jones/NCTI courses can use to offset exam and SCTE membership costs.
